When thinking about kindness, we get that feel good sensation of everything nice and sweet and...kind. And we here at All Kind, are all for that. Unbiased, unconditional kindness.
But we also know that other things can be disguised as kindness, and out of kindness to everyone, we feel it bears mention.
Kindness, we believe, comes from the core. That place inside, that's known as intuition- that feels right doing something right, without a hope for recognition or reciprocation. It is free of shame, fear, guilt, pressure, manipulation or obligation. It isn't power seeking and it isn't ever giving up one's own power to make someone else happy. It isn't a way to prove our "goodness" or a selfless act that leaves us depleted. Kindness doesn't step in to save the day when no day needs to be saved. It doesn't rescue others who don't need rescuing. It's not dependent or needy. Kindness is about firm boundaries, and not about trying to prove something. It is clear from co-dependency and isn't people pleasing.
It's about respect, dignity and compassion.
Kindness is a way to BE-first to ourselves-that is born from unconditional love of our Self. Which then can't help but shine to others, other living things, and our planet. Like warm sunlight on a meadow of seeds. Ready to bloom into more kindness.
To us, that's healthy kindness.
Being All Kind. To every kind.
